Spikey Rose Design

I am fortunate to know lots of wonderfully creative and talented people.  I like who they are and what they do, and thought some of you might be interested too.  In no particular order I'm going to be adding a number of posts letting you know about some of the terrific people in my world...

Now let me introduce you to Spikey Rose Design.  I met Glenda at The Handmade Show and was quite taken with her memory wire bangles in particular, as well as her warmth and helpfulness.  I purchased some more Spikey Rose Design jewellery recently as gifts and love the energy of each piece as well as the craftsmanship.

"I create jewellery pieces and each are one of a kind. Because they are indivdually handcrafted by me I cannot replicate items although I can make similiar. I love what I do and am always learning new things and and am heavily influenced by the world around me and other Jewellery artists. I like to experiment and there's been a lot of bits of wire thrown away in the process.
I put my heart into everything I make therefore you will find hearts are a strong feature of all my work. The name SpikeyRose comes from a combination of my middle name Rose - also my mum's maiden name - and Pike my maternal grandmother maiden name. A bit of playing around with the words and googling I came up with the combination of 'SpikeyRose'.
Some would say I have a few thorns too although I think the beauty is worth it! What do you think?"
